Senior Scholarship

1. The Board and parents will continue to raise funds to build a scholarship reserve fund to award scholarships to each graduating senior
who has participated on and with the LPST for at least the final two years of high school eligibility. It is based on their good character,
their longevity and their positive contribution to the Long Point Sailfish Swim team.

2. The Board will keep track of eligible swimmers on at least a three year forward looking calendar to identify the expected funds needed
to award these scholarships.

3. A request for an exception to these guidelines above may be sent in writing to the Board President prior to the end of June or the regular
Meet schedule, whichever is the earlier date.

4. In order for a senior scholarship award winner to collect the scholarship payment, s/he must attend and compete in City Meet if chosen
for the City Meet team.  Scholarship award payments will be made after City Meet.
